Kravchenko’s former mother-in-law invested $670,000 in property in UAE, - media. VIDEO
In July 2023, the mother-in-law of former Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko – whilst he was head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration – invested approximately 670,000 dollars in the construction of a 143-square-metre villa in Dubai, in the upmarket residential development Damac Lagoons.

The person in question is Alina Shkrobanets – the mother of Ruslan Kravchenko’s then-wife, Olena Shkrobanets, from whom he divorced in 2024. Following their divorce, the property came under new ownership – that of Ukrainian Andrii Keibash, manager of the Kyiv restaurant La Veranda, where Ruslan Kravchenko had previously been spotted in the company of Shkrobanets, the report notes.
Journalists cite sources from the Dubai land registry.
On 20 July 2023, Alina Shkrobanets, a Ukrainian national, invested approximately 670,000 dollars in this property. The property was sold by Island Oasis Properties – a development and construction firm based in the UAE. The project is in the final stages of construction.
According to the declaration, on the same day, 20 July 2023, her daughter Olena Shkrobanets, who was Ruslan Kravchenko’s wife at the time, resigned from the Office of the Prosecutor General.
"During the same period, Ruslan Kravchenko stated in his declaration that he had the right to temporary use of his mother-in-law Alina Shkrobanets’s car – a 2013 Infiniti QX70. In November 2024, the couple officially divorced.
In the summer of 2025, Kravchenko became Prosecutor General. That same year, his now former mother-in-law, Alina Shkrobanets, according to a leak from the UAE property register, sold the villa to Kyiv restaurateur Andrii Keibash. This information is also confirmed by the official register of the Dubai Land Department," the authors of the article stated.
Andrii Keibash is the manager of the La Veranda restaurant in Kyiv.
The villa was not purchased
"Schemes" contacted Alina Shkrobanets for comment. She stated that she had not purchased a villa in Dubai:
I didn’t buy anything in the United Arab Emirates. Given the current situation, I’m wondering whether I might have been used? Because I didn’t buy anything. I don’t need property in Dubai
When asked who, in her opinion, might have used her details, she did not reply.
Regarding Andrii Keibash, the manager of La Veranda, she said that she "knows him, they are friends", but had never discussed any property-related matters with him.
Alina Shkrobanets assured us that she has not been in contact with Ruslan Kravchenko for over two years, and that he has never approached her regarding the purchase or registration of any property.
Meanwhile, Kravchenko’s ex-wife, Olena Shkrobanets, did not answer calls from the media, but responded briefly to a message: "Unfortunately, I know nothing about this (the Dubai property – Ed.)."
The new owner of the Dubai property, Andrii Keibash, confirmed in a conversation with journalists that he had purchased the villa for nearly 670,000 dollars in 2025. However, he denied that he had bought it specifically from Alina Shkrobanets. According to him, he found the property "online".
When a journalist pointed out that the property in question had been purchased at that time by relatives of Ruslan Kravchenko, Keibash declined to comment:
Anything to do with, or any information regarding, Kravchenko… I don’t even want to discuss this topic properly, because this person was simply our guest at the time – by which I mean a client. And that’s all. (...) If you’re talking about the video, or analysing certain things… You can see that it’s a restaurant; it’s open to the public, and all sorts of guests come there. We’ve been working in our neighbourhood for many years
He also said that he is not on speaking terms with Alina Shkrobanets.
Ihor Shkrobanets, the father of Kravchenko’s ex-wife, is a member of the Chernivtsi Regional Council; consequently, he should have declared the property in Dubai in which his wife, Alina Shkrobanets, had invested. This is not included in his declaration. In a comment to "Schemes", he said he knew nothing about his wife’s purchase of property in the UAE, but also suggested that her details might have been misused.
Kravchenko’s resignation and the allegations against Kryvonos
- Earlier, Ruslan Kravchenko stated that he had signed a notice of suspicion against NABU Director Semen Kryvonos and a person close to the head of the SAPO.
- President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called on the Rada to immediately support the dismissal of Ruslan Kravchenko from the post of Prosecutor General.
- NABU and the SAPO described Kravchenko’s actions as a continuation of a systematic attack on anti-corruption bodies.
- According to the AntAC, Kravchenko left the country on the night of 14 September.
- Subsequently, the Prosecutor General stated that he is currently abroad on a business trip.
- According to sources at Censor.NET, Kravchenko registered his trip abroad as an official business trip to Brussels.
- Subsequently, Prosecutor General Kravchenko stated that NABU Director Kryvonos is suspected of a sham adoption to evade criminal liability.
- On 14 September, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy ordered the suspension of Ruslan Kravchenko from the post of Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
- The Office of the Prosecutor General denied reports that a notice of suspicion had been served on Semen Kryvonos.
- Kravchenko accused the NABU of attempting to have the notice of suspicion against the bureau’s director, Semen Kryvonos, revoked through backroom deals.
- On 15 September, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree dismissing Ruslan Kravchenko from the post of Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
