Partners should provide Ukraine with air defense systems capable of shooting down Oreshnik missiles - Sybiha

Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has called on partners to strengthen Ukraine's air defense with systems capable of shooting down medium-range Oreshnik ballistic missiles.
The minister made the statement on social network X, Censor.NET reports.
Sybiha said that Russia's use of intermediate-range ballistic missiles is blackmail and an attempt to scare the West away from supporting Kyiv.
"Ukraine's partners should act exactly the opposite: reject blackmail, increase support and strengthen Ukraine's air shield with systems capable of intercepting such missiles," the Foreign Minister said.

The media later reported that the Verkhovna Rada had canceled its November 22 meeting due to information about a possible strike on the government quarter in Kyiv.
