Counterintelligence has uncovered information indicating that Russia is preparing a series of information and psychological special operations regarding the situation in the temporarily occupied city of Oleshky in the Kherson region.

Soldiers from one of the Russian-occupying forces’ units were ordered to stage a series of "compromising" interviews featuring residents of the temporarily occupied city.

What are the occupiers up to?

In the video, as planned by the Russian Federation, local residents are supposed to:

accuse the Ukrainian Armed Forces of constantly shelling and blockading the city;
to discredit the decisions of our country's military and political leadership;
to express a positive attitude and gratitude toward the military of the aggressor country.

The enemy's PsyOps operation is scheduled for October through early November of this year.

The SSU called on the media and the public:

take a critical view of the emergence of such "sensational" information;
Do not trust posts from hostile or pro-Russian Telegram channels;
Do not share unverified information;
Use information exclusively from official sources.

Humanitarian Crisis in Oleshky
