People’s Deputy Leros: Telbizov, attacker on "Schemes" journalists, is reinstated at state-owned Ukreximbank
Ihor Telbizov, Director of the Banking Security Department of Ukreximbank, who was fired for attacking Schemes journalists, is reinstated at the state-owned bank.

"According to my sources, he gathered the bank's employees and boasted that he had won the case in court, saying that he was going to be reinstated soon, and yesterday he was already given a pass," the People's Deputy noted.
As previously reported by Censor.NET, on October 4, 2021, Schemes journalists came to interview the chairman of the board of the state-owned Ukreximbank, Yevhen Metsher. He didn't like one of the questions, and the cameraman's equipment was forcibly taken away and the recording deleted, while the journalists were kept out of the office. "Ukreximbank now claims that the conversation with the journalists was only interrupted, and even then because it turned out that the media workers were trying to take possession of bank secrecy. Metzher calls what happened a "provocation." Meanwhile, the Prosecutor General's Office is investigating the case of obstruction of journalists' work, and the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Freedom of Speech will also consider what happened.
Later, Schemes was able to restore the deleted video and showed footage of the attack.
Yevhen Metzher, the chairman of the board of Ukreximbank, wrote a letter of resignation for the period of the investigation. Later, the Supervisory Board of Ukreximbank suspended the Chairman of the Board. On October 7, he and Pikalov, director of the bank's information policy department, were served with suspicions.
On October 11, 2021, the court imposed a measure of restraint on Metzher in the form of nightly house arrest.
On September 14, 2022, the court found Yevhen Metsher, the former Chairman of the Board of Ukreximbank, Ihor Telbizov, the former Director of the Banking Security Department, and Oleh Osipov, the Head of the Internal Security Department of Ukreximbank, guilty and fined each of them. Metzher was sentenced to a fine of UAH 3,400. The court fined Telbizov and Osipov UAH 1700 each.
On November 11, 2022, Metzher was appointed as Chairman of the Board of Ukrainian Financial Housing Company (Ukrfinzhytlo).
