The involvement of women in the Ukrainian Armed Forces has seen a remarkable increase, with over 68,000 women serving, more than 5,500 of whom are on the front lines. Recent legislative changes have enabled women to voluntarily register for military service, further integrating them into national defense. Efforts continue to ensure gender equality within the Armed Forces, including the provision of uniforms tailored to female needs. Women's contributions are not only pivotal on the battlefield but also in reshaping military culture, breaking stereotypes, and supporting national defense through service in the Territorial Civilian Reserve. The resilience and dedication of these women are crucial as Ukraine continues to fortify its military capabilities.
